Weird World: Customers phone usage and bad language causes British pub to close

A pub has closed as customers were going on their phones and using bad language.

Sam Smith’s is an independent British brewery who has implemented rules which say punters aren’t allowed using bad language or checking their mobiles in any of their pubs.

Residence of Hale, Greater Manchester believe that their local pub was closed after officials visited and saw rules being broken.

Craig Calder said: “My father was in there last Thursday when it got closed and he was briefly on his phone sending an important text when he was approached by one of the brewery representatives.

“However he was not asked politely to stop using his phone but was threatened. I hope Sam Smiths brewery’s know what kind of behaviour is happening here, it’s a disgrace and I for one will never step foot in a Sam Smiths brewery again.”
