Pastor Ng’ang’ a is known for his outrageous comments, and his most recent words come as no shock to his followers.
The Neno Evangelism Center is known for its staunch teachings and its ever-growing following of believers. With Pastor James Ng’ang’a at the helm, the church has continued to grow exponentially due to some part to Ng’ang’a’s charisma and forthright message. The pastor has made news yet again after he made some off the cuff comments about women’s dressing in church.
The clergyman went on to admonish his female churchgoers on the dress code highlighting the tight and misleading choice of clothing that led men astray as they worshipped in the church. In the now-viral video clip that was shared by media persona Jamal Gaddafi, the irate televangelist is captured saying, “watu wamekosa madhabahu, dhabihu, wamekosa sheria….unaweza vaa vileunataka. Unaagalia kwa Facebook unaona wanawake wamejichorachora, unaenda unajichora.” Seemingly angered as he delivered the message, Ng’ang’a makes reference to the altar and sacrifice of Christ that should be upheld and respected by churchgoers in the Church while in the presence of God.
Pastor James Ng’ang’a went to point out that the bodies that female churchgoers displayed were in fact enhanced by various shapewear. Speaking to the men in the congregation, Ng’ang’a warned them saying, “wanaume wacha niwasaidie. Hizi manyuma hivyo unaona wakonazo, si nyuma mwambie fungua nione…nguo zinashonwa hapo ndani na hio kitabaya…”
The cleric went on to call the women who donned shapewear as ‘prostitutes’ calling them ‘malaya wa kiroho’ and ‘agents of satan’. In his long reprimand of the female congregants of his church, the pastor also confessed that he too was not immune to the lures of his female congregants in shapewear.
Various social media users commented on the viral video. One wrote, “i pity men who go for looks because the 21st-century ladies are all fake nothing natural about them.” Another commented, “Nonsense instead to bring lost sheep back to Christ he’s busy kuangalia wanawake end time pastors.” Most social media users laughed off the rebukes of Pastor Ng’ang’a choosing instead to focus on his entertaining selection of words.
This is not the first time that the cleric has hit out at his congregants. Not sparing them a word, Pastor James Ng’ang’a is known for chastising his flock, with no apologies for his harsh words. As earlier reported by The Sauce, man the of God was earlier seen telling the stunned churchgoers to respect his wife or else he would kick them out in May. He went on to stamp his authority saying he does not care as he is the one who founded the church.
