UK Gospel Star Steve Impact Hosts Silent Listening Party In Nairobi For New Song Feat Kenya’s Njoki Munyi

UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician Steve Impact brought a refreshing new wave to Nairobi’s gospel scene with an exclusive private listening party held at Freedom Embassy International, unveiling his newly released single ‘Higher,’ a powerful collaboration with Kenya’s very own Njoki Munyi.

The song, which is already available on all major digital platforms and YouTube, was recorded and shot in London, and carries a deeply uplifting message of spiritual elevation and faith. The Nairobi event was specially curated to give Kenyan fans a first-of-its-kind experience: a silent listening and viewing session using wireless light-up headsets that created an intimate and visually captivating atmosphere.

In a show of support for the gospel fraternity, the event drew an esteemed line-up of local faith leaders, including Reverend Dr. Jane Mwikali of Freedom Embassy Church, Reverend Julian Kyula of RUACH Ministries, and Pastor Tumaini, among others. Their presence underscored the growing bond between local and international gospel ministries, and the power of music as a shared spiritual language.

The highlight of the night came when the audience, donned in glowing headsets, was immersed in the song’s message and visuals. The venue momentarily transformed into a sanctuary of sound and light.

Speaking during the event, Steve Impact shared, “Kenya has a special place in my heart, and this collaboration with Njoki is more than just music ,it’s ministry. ‘Higher’ is about rising above doubt and embracing God’s call to live boldly in faith. Seeing the Kenyan audience connect so deeply with the song tonight was a true blessing.”

Njoki Munyi added, “It’s been an honour to work with Steve. The love and energy in the room were overwhelming, and it’s clear that ‘Higher’ is already touching lives.”

Collaborations like ‘Higher’ are a major boost to the Kenyan gospel industry. They not only elevate the quality and reach of local gospel music but also connect Kenyan audiences to broader global conversations of faith, worship, and creativity; opening doors for cultural exchange and spiritual unity across borders.
