Forget the skull breaker challenge, there is a new challenge on the video social media app TikTok.
The new challenge dubbed the #FlipTheSwitchChallenge has thousands of Tiktokers around the world including celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez doing their own versions.
Set to the 2018 track ‘Nonstop,’ from the album ‘Scorpion’ the viral video challenge involves two people standing in front of a mirror. One person stands closest to the mirror holding still while recording the video on their phone.
Meanwhile, in the background, the other individual dances to the music until Drake sings the opening lyric, “Look, I just flipped a switch (flipped, flipped).” This cue prompts the room’s light switch to be turned off and on, only to reveal that the two participants swapped outfits and positions during the transition.
The ‘flip the switch’ challenge sounds easy enough, but of course, it’s always fun to add a unique twist to it. Whether the 15-second video stars unexpected guests or interesting outfits, there are endless ways to stand out.
