The arrangements for the final farewell of the late actor, Charles Ouda, have been unveiled, marking a somber yet dignified tribute to the beloved icon.
According to details shared in a dedicated WhatsApp group overseeing the burial arrangements, Charles Ouda will be cremated at Kariokor on February 15, 2024.
The schedule outlined in the communication indicates a series of events designed to honor Ouda’s memory. Commencing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, a fundraising event is set to take place at the Higher Trinity room within All Saints Cathedral at 5:30 pm. This event aims to gather support and contributions from well-wishers to assist the family during this challenging period.
On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the cortege will depart from Chiromo Funeral Home, initiating an overnight vigil at the family residence in Loresho. This vigil serves as a time for reflection and remembrance, allowing friends, family, and admirers to pay their respects and offer condolences.
The culmination of the farewell proceedings will occur on Thursday, February 15, 2024, starting with a church service at All Saints Cathedral at 10:00 am. Following the service, the final rites will be performed at Kariokor, exclusively for immediate family members.
