Stephen And Ayesha Curry Announce The Birth Of Their Fourth Child

Ayesha Curry has given birth to a baby boy.

The 35-year-old actress – who is married to NBA star Stephen Curry and already has daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, eight, as well as five-year-old son Canon with him – went into labour slightly early a fortnight ago and welcomed a second son, who has been named Caius Chai.

On Sunday (27.05.24) evening, Stephen wrote on Instagram: “Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!

Caius Chai 5/11/24.”

The former ‘Family Food Fight’ host was inundated with comments from fellow famous faces who wanted to send their wellwishes upon hearing the news.

Model Hailey Bieber – who is expecting her first child with pop star Justin Bieber – wrote: “congratulationsssss”, whilst ‘Cry Me A River’ singer Justin Timberlake said: “Congrats!”

Broadway star Stephanie Mills simply left a prayer emoji and a blue heart emoji, whilst comedienne Rosie O’Donnell wrote : ‘perfect'(sic)

Ayesha previously explained that every pregnancy had been different but with her latest one, she was “more appreciative” of where she was at.

She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Interestingly enough, I love being a little bit older and having this experience. I feel like there’s so much more gratitude that I’m experiencing and just every little thing is so special. I’m just in a space mentally where I’m more appreciative, and so it’s just been [an] entirely different experience.”

The ‘Irish Wish’ star also explained that she was “really stubborn” during her first few pregnancies but admitted that her attitude only left her feeling “hurt” and decided to embrace the people around her who just want to help.

She said: “I was really stubborn in my earlier pregnancies. And that hurt me in the end. It made things really hard on me. I had to learn to put my pride aside and realize it was OK to take help, to have people around me help and to not shy away from.”
