The late Sports presenter Cardovillis has been posthumously honored at the 2023 Pulse Influencer Awards.
At the recently concluded awards held on the 7th of October, 2023 in Nairobi, the former Capital FM Sports journalist was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award which was received by his parents, cousin Charles Cardovillis, and friend Danny Munyi.
Prior to his untimely passing, the Sports enthusiast had been nominated in the Sports Influencer category alongside other top media personalities including Ferdinand Omanyala, Carol Radull, Angela Okutoyi, Lotan Salapei, and Shon Osimbo among others.
The 100m African champion Ferdinand Omanyala took home the award while Radull came in second.
As reported by The Sauce, Sean passed away on the 9th of September, 2023 after collapsing outside his house in Westlands. He was later cremated on the 14th of September at the Hindu crematorium in Kariokor, Nairobi.
