Celebrated Kenyan music group Sauti Sol and top comedian Eric Omondi have emerged winners in the recently completed African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA).
Sauti Sol emerged the winner in the Hottest Group category, with Eric Omondi winning in the Best African Comedian category.
Eric Omondi took to social media to share the news with his fans and said that he was about to do the unthinkable to the continent.
“3 years in a row!!! I am president for life!!! 53 countries one president!!! We are about to take the continent to a whole new level…and those bloggers who keep writing “self proclaimed president” desist!!! And refrain!!! I am not self-proclaimed!!! I am the people’s choice!!! Africa has spoken again and I am about to do the unthinkable to lift the continent,” he captioned on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Sauti Sol is currently gearing towards their upcoming event dubbed ‘A Sol Christmas’.
The event which will be held virtually on their official YouTube channel is set to take place on Christmas day at 9:30 pm. This will enable all Kenyans to view the event after curfew which starts at 10pm.
The event will feature renowned artists including Nviiri the Storyteller, Bensoul, Xenia, Nikita Kering, and Aaron Rimbui.
