The Capital FM family is mourning the loss of one Alex Murimi Nderi alias Dj Lithium.
Dj Lithium as he was popularly referred to by his fans was a multi-talented individual, he was a master on the decks and a producer of the Capital FM breakfast show hosted by Davina Leonard and Fareed Khimani.
Alex worked at the Lonrho house based station for 8 years, he was social media savvy and a photographer who captured amazing moments in studio and during events like Koroga Festival.

He was quiet, soft spoken but always jovial. He was always excited to be on the decks and would occasionally banter away with the presenters on air. He was an avid Arsenal supporter and would not miss an opportunity to wear his jersey.
He was a Daystar University alumni who started out at Capital FM as an intern in the production department and went on to showcase his talents as a deejay; playing alongside established deejays like Dj Joe Mfalme, Dj John and Dj Stretch.
Dj Lithium will be remembered by his family, friends and colleagues for his kindness, unique sense of humor and loving personality.
