Nigerian singer Rema has announced that he will be dropping a new project with Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking during a live show at Elements Club in Tanzania, Rema noted that fans should be ready for the banger.
“Hey yoh, am linking up with Diamond Platnumz very soon… Something with Diamond Platnumz is coming very soon…” he posted. Rema performed to a packed house, while on his trip to the coastal town this past weekend.

Rema, however, did not reveal more details about the project leavings fans speculating.
Meanwhile, Rema was also part of the iconic FIFA 21 World Premier alongside Buju Banton and more. The Naija singer’s upcoming project is part of a series of Diamond’s collabos with West African artists. Last week, Diamond and Nigerian artist Wurld shot a video for their collaboration that is also expected soon.
Wurld shot the video in Tanzania when he was in the country for a series of concerts towards the end of September. The shoot was revealed by his manager who shared a series of behind the scenes videos.
In addition to the above, Diamond recently shared a series of videos driving Joe Boy around Dar es Salaam where he was accompanied by Zuchu.
Speculation are rife the either Diamond or Zuchu could team up with Joe Boy for a new jam. And although Simba is focused on his Easts Meets West collaborations, he also dropped something special for his East African fans this weekend.
The track dubbed, “‘Haunisumbui” is Diamond’s second song in two weeks after he dropped another love song ‘Ongeza’. Before he dropped his bangers, he had featured on Zuchu’s two new hits dubbed ‘Litawachoma’ and ‘Cheche’.
With the two songs out, fans are speculating that Diamond could soon release an album or an EP since his WCB manager Sallam SK had earlier indicated that he has several completed songs.
