Jamaican singer Denyque is lucky to be alive and well after facing death a couple of weeks ago.
The ‘I Miss You’ singer recently poured her heart out on social media about almost dying while giving birth.
Four weeks ago, she delivered her second born, a healthy baby girl but things quickly went sour when she developed complications.
It was discovered that she had placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta attaches itself to the uterus. She lost 4.8 litres of blood and in order to save her life, the doctors had to perform a caesarian hysterectomy which meant they had to remove her uterus.

A now healthy and grateful Denyque took to social media to also thank her able team of doctors for all that they did for her.
The 30 year old Reggae star and her husband Careem Mullings have since named their daughter born on the 9th of March 2020 Dylan Drew Mullings. The couple also share a toddler son named Connor Dash Mullings.
