I’m still in awe of my baby girl @blazetucker! I just wanna say thank you sooooo much to @therealdrjackie & @shadinablunt for helping us bring our beautiful baby girl in the world. There are no words that can express our gratitude! @shadinablunt is normally a super private person so helping us in this journey has been different for her. Please send love & light to her & @therealdrjackie! They mean a lot to our family. ❤️❤️ & Make sure to watch #RHOA tonight & see a part of the journey on tonight’s episode.
Burruss, 43, and Tucker, 46, are already parents to 3-year-old son Ace. The singer is also mom to daughter Riley, 17, and stepmom to Tucker’s 22-year-old daughter Kaela.
A few days after the baby was born, the Xscape singer shared the first photos of their newborn on social media.
“Our little angel is doing well! She was born yesterday 11-22-19 at 6:54 pm. 8lbs & 1oz! Her name is Blaze Tucker. Thank you to everyone for the love & well wishes! She’s gonna Blaze a path to greatness! @blazetucker is our newest heartbeat,” the proud mom, 43, wrote along with a photo of her baby girl holding a family member’s finger.
As reported by The Sauce, Burruss and Tucker announced they were expecting another child in September 2019.
Her journey with surrogacy has been documented on season 12 of RHOA. Earlier this month, on the premiere, Burruss revealed that her surrogate was initially pregnant with twins, but one of the embryos was lost.
Surrogacy was something the pair had debated during RHOA‘s 11th season. Burruss was worried about carrying her own after a high-risk pregnancy with Ace and her history with fibroids, which are noncancerous growths in the uterus.
