Prolific model and beauty queen Rachel Mbuki seems to not let her foot off the gas pedal lately, if her moves are anything to go by.
The former Miss Kenya – Universe has launched her own pop culture and entertainment news site dubbed ‘Extra Access TV,’ a big step in her illustrious streak covering Hollywood red carpet events and providing commentary on trendy topics.
Announcing the site, the vocal media personality wrote: “It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here. It took a lot of courage and guts to finally make this step. Taking inspiration from my mentor, Jason Lee, who taught me the importance of forging our own path, I’ve ventured into new territory. Armed with my three degrees in Business Information Technology, Broadcast Programming & Management and Communication Studies along with years of experience in marketing, journalism and TV hosting, I’ve launched @xtraaccess TV, a news entertainment company.”
Mbuki’s passion for red carpet coverage, news reporting and commentary goes without saying, and a closer look into her social media depicts that all too well. She has landed interviews with Brand Pitt. Sherri Shepherd, 50 Cent and Vivica Fox to name but a few.
Mbuki was the recipient of Red Carpet Royalty of the Year Award held at the Director’s Guild of America in Hollywood.
With this new venture, Mbuki has quite a handful up her sleeves. “Extra Access TV is a full fledged Entertainment News entity that will be bringing you the latest breaking pop-culture news, taking you on all the major Hollywood Red Carpets, bringing you exclusive interviews with your favorite stars as well as film and TV project press junkets and more,” She promises.
