Days after the courts reinstated Kenyatta University’s VC Prof. Olive Mugenda to her position, the VC was in Mombasa to open new campus hostels. The state of art hostels will accommodate over 400 students and includes a recreation park for students and staff.
Prof Mugenda and the KU administration has been keen to see the VC commission major projects in the University before her term ends in March 2016. The Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital promises to bring world class health care in Nairobi. The University plans to operationalize the new Hospital in February 2016 starting with the Outpatient Division in the first phase and has started recruiting staff for the hospital.
