Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has challenged Kenya’s rapper Khaligraph Jones to, not a rap battle this time, but a fist fight.
You read that right! The rapper wants to see who can knock who out between him and his nemesis.
Shortly after arriving in the country for his media tour, the rapper, real name Emeka Akumefule, said he wants to battle the We Be Happening rapper.
“I’m live here in Kenya, first time in East Africa…Khaligraph Jones! I’m challenging you to a fist fight. I don’t want music no more!” he exclaimed rather blatantly.
Bonez recently dropped the new video for his Joeboy collaboration, Fendi off his 2021 album Sex Over Love.
This might the rapper’s quest to reignite his beef with Jones. Early last year, the two were embroiled in a grave vendetta that saw them release scathing diss tracks against each other.
It was occasioned by Jones winning the Best HipHop Act category at Nigeria’s Soundcity MVP Awards. Perhaps disappointed by losing in his own backyard, Bonez took to social media to blast Jones after his win.
“Somebody tell Khaligraph that I’m still the best rapper in Africa Sound City got it wrong. Diss track in the morning, you know what I mean!!!” he posted, before shortly recanting.
What ensued were diss tracks directed to each other. Jones’ Best Rapper in Nigeria diss was especially the highlight and saw him him atop the twitter trends in both Kenya and Nigeria.
Time will tell if Jones will fire back at Bonez.
