October is the start of the short rains season, and with it comes the perfect weather to ‘netflix and chill’.

The movie that has already received rave reviews for its storytelling, picks up where the series finale left off. Jesse is back, played by Aaron Paul, and the realities of of his past weigh heavy on him as he forges his future. The thrilling 2-hour movie is deemed to be the ‘perfect end’ for the highly successful franchise.
2. Raising Dion
This show is for all the sci-fi fans. A young mother deals with her son’s special abilities and the hang-ups of keeping him safe from exploitative authorities all while being a single parent. Recently widowed, she goes on a quest to learn more about thier origins and the wild ride that is her son’s various gifts.
3. Modern Love
Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, and Tina Fey feature in the Amazon Prime production. The movie that is based on the intricate details of various relationships featured in the infamous ‘Modern Love’ column that now unfold on screen. Love and its complexities make for an interesting movie, for anyone who is interested in a series of soppy, yet funny love stories; this is worth watching.
4.Little Monsters
Lupita Nyong’o stars in the Hulu production ‘Little Monsters’ a terrifing but hilarious zombie movie. The movie sees a pre-school teacher and washed-up musician try to survive a zombie attack. Not your average zombie film, it combines huge laughs, love and the innocence of children all as danger inches closer to threaten the lives of the oh so cute children.
5. Dolomite Is My Name
Eddie Murphy is back with this funny, satirical production ‘Dolomite Is My Name.’ Set in the 1970s, it is the story of performer Rudy Ray Moore, who took on the role of an iconic pimp named Dolemite. With a star-studded cast including Wesley Snipes, Keegan Key and Mike Epps, this definately delivers some major laughs.
