
Mount Kenya University has commissioned an ultra-modern complex building at their Main Campus in Thika. The 10-floor building will be the tallest building in Kiambu County, according to Mr. Boniface Murigi, Marketing Director at MKU.
“Construction of the New Ultra-Modern Complex at Mount Kenya University Main Campus is complete and now only remains commissioning and subsequent unveiling of the state-of-the-art building,” said Murigi.
Speaking on behalf of Prof Stanley Waudo, the Varsity’s Vice Chancellor, Mr. Murigi gives a Tentative date of 15th July 2013 for the commissioning of the 10 storey building.
“It will house a fully serviced sickbay to cater for both the students and the members of staff at the Main Campus, ultra Modern lecture halls that will offer a conducive environment for learning, state of the art Laboratories and staff offices,” explains Mr. Murigi.
The MKU building comes two weeks after University of Nairobi announced the construction of a 22-storey at the Main Campus
