Kishash hitmaker Jeremy Maina alias Lil Maina’s grandfather has passed on, the musician has announced with a post on his social media.
Paying tribute to him in the post, Maina hailed him saying things will never be the same without him.
“I will always have you in my heart. It is not the same without you, it will never be. The best grandfather to me and to everyone. I will miss you so much,” Reads his caption in part.
Maina, who is currently working on his album, went on to thank him for the ‘support’ and ‘rasing me.’ He concluded: “I love you babu. Till we meet again. I never wanted to post about anything about this, but I thought it would be good for you guys to know about this, but I thought it would be good for you guys to know.”
Lil’ Maina rose to fame doing a variety of skits that prominently feature his grandparents. Videos of Maina pranking them went viral at the height of the pandemic, garnering him thousands of fans.
