CUSTOMS AFFAIRS OFFICER
Requirements
• Diploma in clearing and forwarding
• Excellent knowledge of KENTRADE, TRADEX and ICMS online systems
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent understanding of International Trade, Compliance and Customs regulations.
• Previous experience in working alongside international government agencies.
• An excellent knowledge of export and import controls is essential for this role.
• AEO application experience would be beneficial for this role.
• Hands on working knowledge of licensing and customs documentation requirements for international trade and Kenya import/export logistics.
• Certificate/ Diploma – KESRA
• Familiar with customs clearance process and related HS code assignments skills.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of customs rules and regulations, strong experience in customs import declaration.
• Certificate of good conduct.
