Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has inked a deal with high-profile entertainment and sports agency founded by iconic rapper Jay Z, Roc Nation.
The news of her signing gained momentum after Roc Nation shared a preview of her upcoming single, ‘Hot Body,’ across its social media platforms late last week. The confirmation came swiftly with the appearance of Ayra’s dedicated artist page on the company’s website.
As part of the deal, Ayra, 23, will now be managed internationally by Roc Nation, a decision that aims to harness her growing star power. Currently, she’s touring stadiums with British rock band Coldplay, preparing for her acting debut in the film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, and has recently added both BET and MOBO awards to her growing list of accolades.
The Mavin Records signee’s partnership with Roc Nation marks a significant step forward in expanding her reach on a global scale. This strategic collaboration is expected to help elevate Ayra’s profile, particularly in the United States and Europe, where she has already begun making waves.
Ayra Starr who rose to fame just a couple of years ago is known for her hit songs Bloody Samaritan, Rush, All the love, Commas and more.
