It’s official Harmonize is no longer in WCB Wasafi, and he’s just booked a show at Wembley Stadium

There have been a series of speculations over the state of Harmonize’s relationship with Bongo megabrand WCB Wasafi.

According to a recent interview on Wasafi Media, Salaam SK a WCB Wasafi executive confirmed that indeed Harmonize has withdrawn from the Tanzanian music powerhouse. KondeBoy, as he is known to fans, is no longer invested in Wasafi records music label. The ‘Kainama’ crooner reportedly made steps to make his decision more official and is in the process of clearing up the paperwork in a bid to work out the finer details of his contract.

Sallam SK, who manages some of Bongo music’s biggest names including Diamond Platnumz went on air to clearing the recent rumors that have been fuelling gossip columns across East Africa. In his hour-long interview on Block 89, Sallam pointed out, “Harmonize kwa sasa ndani ya moyo wake hivi hayuko WCB, Harmonize kimakaratasi yuko WCB…ameshatuma barua ya maombi yakuvunja mkataba na yuko willing kupitia vipengele vyote vya sheria kuweza kuterminate mkataba.”

Sallam went on to add that he was impressed with how Harmonize handled the whole situation, adding that he indeed supported his decision for the sake of furthering his career. He said, ” Ye mwenyewe ameridhia, na ye mwenyewe ameandika barua na ameomba kikao na viongozi na hicho ni kitu tumependezwa nacho, kwa maana ni mtu ambaye amesimama na amefuata sheria, na ameamua ya kwamba labda imefikia wakati yake ya kujiendeleza …ni wakati wa kumove on.”

And Sallam went on to share that the famed musician harbors no bad blood with Platnumz and the Wasafi crew. SK even went on to say Harmonize has the complete blessings from the Wasafi crew. Sallam who also goes by the moniker El-Jefe Mendez went on to point out that Harmonize’s contractual termination is more complicated due to the massive investment they have made in him as a brand. El Jefe mention, “unapoamua kuterminate, inabidi you go through ilefaida ulitengeneza…kwa hivyo ma-auditor watafanya hiyo kazi.”

Meanwhile, Harmonize is keen to continue to grow despite departing from one of Africa’s biggest record labels. The Mtwara-born act took to Instagram revealing that he will be performing at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London. According to the post, the Afro- Bongo crooner is set to light up the stage at  SSE Arena on August 24th, 2019.

Harmonize seems unbothered by the negativity, and media storm, remaining completely focused on the music. Aside from his career-making Wembley performance, KondeBoy is also set to drop a new release with Ugandan Eddy Kenzo dubbed ‘Inabana’.

Clearly Harmonize is on to bigger and better. Watch out world.
