Kenyan singer Phyllis Ng’etich popularly known as Phy is expecting her first child.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday night (25.09.19), the ‘Taboo’ singer surprised her fans with a photo showing her bulging baby bump.
“Let’s just say I ‘bumped’ into a blessing.” she wrote.
Phy’s alleged baby daddy is her long term boyfriend Kyansimire Oroni a poet and a visual artist.
Most of her fans were surprised by the news but still shared congratulatory messages to her. Fellow artists Fena Gitu, Patricia Kihoro, Wangechi, Chris Adwar, Sage and Femi One were among celebrities who sent congratulatory messages to the singer.
Phy who recently graduated with a degree in Real Estate from a popular Kenyan university, rose to fame when she took part in DSTV’s Maisha Superstar talent show which she later won.
The performing artist who hails from Kericho is known for hits like Ruka, Siwezani and Taboo. She wowed fans on the Koroga Festival stage earlier this year.
