It’s a trilogy, as Harmonize drops new collaborations with Tanzanian legend Q Chilla

Harmonize is back again and this time he presents once-forgotten legend Q Chilla with three tracks.

The Wasafi lead talent released “My Boo” a powerful collaboration with Q Chilla. The Tanzania duo worked together on the track that has been trending since its release on 23rd June 2019. The track is in the classic bongo style, with Konde Boy’s vocals compliments Q Chilla’s strong hook.

The twosome has since released a couple of tracks together in what is being termed as the ‘Return of Q Chilla’. The Tanzanian talent Q Chilla had taken a seven-year hiatus from music, up until his most recent collaborations with Harmonize. In an interview with Wasafi Media, Q expressed that his relationship with Harmonize is a long drawn friendship that began before the fame and money that came with his recent success.

In the interview, he went to elaborate that the two had also previously worked together with Harmonize writing the lyrics to Q’s mega release ‘For You’. Previously known to fans under the moniker ‘Q Chief’, Chilla opened up about the new opportunity to work with Harmonize and pointed out that Konde Boy was not only helping him but his family too. Aside from ‘My Boo’, the releases ‘Nionyeshe’ and ‘Go Low’ have been a great success.

Based on the reception of their music, the twosome are a perfect combination. Their sound and style mesh well together to create so iconic music. A legend within the Tanzanian music industry, the trio of releases are a re-introduction of the legend to a new audience.
