Gospel star Mbuvi celebrates 2 decades in music, paying it forward to upcoming acts

Renowned Kenyan gospel musician Mbuvi  is this year celebrating 20 years since he joined the gospel music industry.

In a bid to spread love and appreciate his fans, Mbuvi’s new record label Panche Plum has offered to record an audio and produce a video for 20 artistes at a price of 20,000 shillings running all through the year 2020.

The offer in celebration of 2 decades in the music industry is a way of paying it forward to the many artists who cannot afford a studio session due to its high cost. Especially for upcoming artistes, the deal is quit generous since in most circumstances it is the cost of audio producing only according to Mdundo.

Mbuvi is an experienced contemporary Gospel musician. Known for various hits including “Kwata Kawaya”, “Nishike”, “Nibadilishe” among others, Mbuvi has had a successful career and continues to scale to greater heights after launching his very own record label. Mbuvi is a 3-time Kisima Award winner, making him among the few Gospel acts to translate his message beyond, going mainstream.
