Who shot Ghost? Is the question everybody is asking right now. Sadly, we’ll have to wait a little longer until Jan,uary 5th to get the response.
The hunt for James St. Patrick’s killer(s) will commence next year (2020) on January 5th, Power’s creator Courtney Kemp has revealed. The midseason ended with a bang, where Ghost was shot by an unknown assailant, and this has left fans guessing through on who shot and supposedly killed Ghost.
In an interview with Deadline Magazine, Courtney Kemp who is the producer of the much-hyped show gave some hints on the possibility of “not getting rid of Ghost” in the final five episodes to fulfill the wishes of fans. This was merely skeptical as she opted to preserve much of the script details, fearing the possibility that she may disclose the fate of many characters remaining in play. “Look, some part of me is nervous about what the audience will think,” Courtney Kemp admitted. ” Some part of me is also really proud of this kind of storytelling, and what we’ve done and the kind of product we have given our audience and led them to expect,” the Executive Producer adds of the shift to next year’s final five episodes.
The crime drama series which also featured rapper 50 Cent as the Executive Producer has seen body count increasing especially as main characters in Season 6 were killed off. Naturally, this elicited mixed reactions from fans with some tweeting not to watch the show if Ghost is eliminated.
However, things may not be as bad as they seem for the end of Ghost. The show’s exec producer confirmed that James St Patrick will be appearing in the last five episodes. “All I can say is that he’s in the last five episodes. I mean, to be honest with you, with love I and all respect, I did not want to end the series in a non-definitive fashion, and then I did not want the audience to go I don’t know what happened. I’m going to honor the idea of a complete tale with Power. So, there’s a beginning to this story, there’s a middle to this story, and then there’s an end, and what you’re seeing is me writing the end now.
So, why would I throw a punch now because like that would be way out of character? What was I going to do, oh, and in the end Ghost gets a punch in the stomach? What? No. I always knew that I wanted the episode to end like this.” she confirmed.
Sadly, despite the writer’s justifications, the internet is less than impressed by Ghost’s sudden death. Now tasked with figuring out who killed him, Power fans have taken to Twitter to solve the mystery of the mysterious killer.

Who do you think killed Ghost? I guess we will have to wait till January 5th, 2020 to confirm fan theories.
