Comedian Eric Omondi has returned to YouTube.
The popular funny man who rose to fame after featuring on The Churchill Show had a rough patch early this year. Now that the drama has died down, it seems that Omondi is ready to make his return. The new parody titled “Lolo” is a benga, rhumba track that also featured award-winning artist Kidum also makes a cameo appearance as the guitarist for the track.
The track is centered on the popular phrase “lamba lolo” that loosely translates to the sexual act of fellatio. Heavy-laden with sexual innuendos, many question whether the parody’s content may be too controversial. Nonetheless, the track has been well received overall.

Popular deejay, DJ Kalonje also made a lamba lolo track in collaboration with local dancehall artist Don KRG. The track is full of energy and well produced by Maurice the General while Kalonje added his classic spin to the sound. Released on the 30th of April, the new-comer Don made a strategic move to partner with the famed deejay. The collaboration is clearly a win-win for both artists and even features a cameo appearance by H_art the Band. The track “Lamba lolo” was released as a tribute to the man who coined the word MC Patoka, after his unfortunate death.
Who do you think did it better?
