Forbes Lists Hip Hop’s Richest

Forbes has a list of the richest artists in Hip Hop. The wealthiest rappers have made big money bu venturing into other projects expanding their portfolios and stalking that paper.Here is a list of the world’s richest artists.

1.Sean “P. Diddy” Combs

Bad Boy Entertainment founder steadily increased his revenue streams into clothing, music production and more. Among the first hip hop artists to monetize his star status, Puff is the daddy of wealth creation among hip hop artists investing in various brands.

 

2.Shawn Corey “Jay-Z” Carter

New Yorker Jay-Z lands the second spot. With numerous deals including the sale of his online streaming service Tidal which landed him $600Million. Hover has continued to make smart investments including his deal with the champagne brand, Armand de Brignac. His entertainment brand Roc Nation also continues to bring in lots of cash for the 47-year-old. The 21 time Grammy award winner embodies an “Empire State of Mind” when managing his wealth.

3. Andre “Dr. Dre” Young

According to Trace TV website, renowned artist Dr. Dre slips to the number 3 spot. Just a little shy of billionaire status, Dre is worth $740Million. Great investment decisions and the sale of the Beats By Dre earphones earned him a hefty paycheck.
