Expect a Naiboi and Morgan Heritage collabo in 2019

Kenyan singer Naiboi is kicking off his new year with some major collaborations.

Formerly known as Rapdamu, the “2 in 1” singer has scored a good one as he impressed Reggae royalty Morgan Heritage during the Wasafi Festival in Nairobi on New Year’s Eve.

Naiboi was among the few artists during the concert who managed to put out a good performance which has paid off and fans can now expect a Naiboi Morgan Heritage collabo in 2019. The news is a big deal for Naiboi who risen through the ranks to become an A-list musician.

According to the “Usipime Mwanaume” hitmaker on social media,  Morgan Heritage reached out to him after being wowed by his December 31st performance at Diamond Platnumz’ final edition of Wasafi Festival that took place at Uhuru Gardens.

Grammy award-winning group Morgan Heritage posted on Instagram saying that they have something cooking with Naiboi. Gramps Morgan also took to his Instagram to big him up confirming that the two are working on a hit.

Last year Morgan Heritage worked with top African artists, Diamond Platinumz from Tanzania and Ghana’s Stonebwoy on their “Africa Jamaica” hit song. Diamond and Morgan Heritage performed the song for the first time in Africa during the Wasafi Festival.

2018 was a massive year for Naiboi’s career, he released hit after hit including “2 in 1”, “I Wanna Be” and “Problem”. He also performed at numerous events including the popular Jameson Connects concert as well as being landing a gig as one of the Kenyan artists on 2019’s Coke Studio Africa.
