Famed Bongo star Diamond Platinumz stuns yet again.
After his lackluster performance at Naivasha over New Year’s Eve, the son Tandale is back, reinventing himself in a brand new collaboration. The 28-year-old Tanzanian millionaire features on a new track with Hip-hop artist Fid Q and Rayvanny. The track titled “Fresh” has a simple, gradual beat centered on the guitar, reminiscent of that of the 90s. Shot in a shipping yard, it gives off all types of cool and the simplicity of the styling is a departure from the glitzy outfits the man from Tandale is known for.
Fid Q also known as Fareed Kubanda is among Tanzanian’s top Hip Hop artists, previously working with Professor Jay and Bongo legend T.I.D. Some of his most popular releases include “Propaganda” and ” Ni Hayo Tu.” A mainstay on the rap scene in Tanzania, Fid Q is popular among fans for his relatable content and lyrical prowess. Rayvanny adds to the track, with an incredible hook, what is the epitome of all things fresh and Tanzanian.
Whether or not Platinumz will feature in more Hip Hop track is yet to be seen, nonetheless, this track is definitely worth checking out.
