Davido’s fiancée Chioma tests positive for Coronavirus

Nigerian superstar Davido’s fiancée and baby mama has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

This is according to the ‘Fia’ hitmaker who on Friday (27.03.20) announced the sad news to his millions of followers on his social media platforms.

Davido who is currently back in Nigeria following the cancellation of his tour, revealed that due to his travel history as well as that of his lover Chioma who traveled from London recently with their son David Jr, they saw it necessary to take the Coronavirus test.

He added that no one in his team, Chioma or their months old son was showing any symptoms.

Following the test that they took on the 25th of March 2020, Chioma is the only one who tested positive out of a total of 31 people including Davido and the baby.

The 27 year old star whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke assured fans that he and his family were doing well despite the diagnosis and they would be taking the necessary precautions.

Chioma is in quarantine and he will be self isolating for 14 days as required, posted Davido.

He also urged his fans to take care of themselves and pray for the world as we fight the pandemic.

Chioma Avril Rowland alias Chef Chi is a 24 year old Nigerian influencer who shows of her cooking prowess on social media. She is said to have met Davido while in University and they have had an off and on relationship for the past couple of years. The two love birds who welcomed their baby boy last year are set to tie the knot soon.

Davido’s better half is not the only celebrity who has tested positive for the respiratory virus. British actor Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Elba recently announced that they had been infected.

As of March 27th 2020, the Coronavirus numbers are as follows, over 590,000 infected persons, over 26,000 fatalities and over 132,000 recoveries.
