Davido Releases ‘Stand Strong’ Ft Sunday Service Choir, Off His Upcoming Album

Multi-platinum Artist and Afrobeats superstar Davido released his newest track, ‘Stand Strong’ featuring The Samples Choir.

‘Stand Strong’ is the first offering from Davido’s highly anticipated studio album scheduled for release later this year.

Grounded in a powerful base of African percussion, ‘Stand Strong’ delivers a spirited and optimistic anthem for our times, showcasing Davido’s musical evolution and offering an exciting glimpse at what is to come for his global fans.

The new track plays like a heartening 3-minute conversation of survival and battered optimism between Davido and his musical choral collaborators The Samples, understanding that the world we live in provides challenges but there is ultimate strength in love if we stand strong.

The Samples Choir is a vocal group known for their world-renowned projects including Kanye West’s Sunday Service movement. The uplifting track, produced by Pheelz is available for download and streaming on all streaming platforms.

‘Stand Strong’ arrives on the heels of an array of high-profile releases in 2022 for Davido, including the global smash, ‘Hayya Hayya (Better Together)’, from the FIFA Official World Cup Soundtrack and his critically acclaimed collaborations with Skales on ‘This Is Your Body’ and Adekunle Gold on their multi-million streaming hit, ‘High’.

It also follows his recent North American, ‘The we rise by lifting others’ Tour announcement, which is set to kick off Thursday, June 16 in New York.

The American-born, Nigerian-raised Afrobeats icon’s music has been streamed over +2 billion times, making him the most followed Afrobeats artist on all social media platforms.
