AFRICA NAZARENE UNIVERSITY CULTURAL WEEK

18th to 22nd February

The ANU student council and the cultural week committee in partnership with YU mobile, Brookside, Coca Cola, Office of PC Rift Valley and Olekajiado Water present the 2013 edition of the annual ANU cultural week. The theme this year is AFRICAN CULTURE, A CULTURE OF PEACE.

ANU Cultural week is a week set aside annually to celebrate the different African cultures represented on campus and in Africa as a whole. It always promises to be one of the best weeks on campus as it gives everyone to participate and display their creativity, and culture. This year’s according to the organizing committee wouldn’t be anything short of awesome as it promises to match if not be better than last years.

The order of events is as follows:

MONDAY 18th – The official opening of the event and week by the vice chancellor Prof. Leah Marangu with talent shows in the evening.

TUESDAY – Cultural wear for members of staff and colour clashing for students.

WEDNESDAY – Professional wear / career day

THURSDAY – there will be a peace walk from ANU Main Campus to Rongai town outside Clean Shelf Supermarket. Then crowd is to be addressed by by area D.O and P.C and then later on there will be performances back in school.

FRIDAY – Last day of events will see performances by different people in the last event of the week that’s the search for Mr and Miss Nazarene 2013-2014 which will be held at Helstrom hall in the Main campus from 1400Hrs then later on followed by the Gala Dinner that evening. On the decks will be Dj DREAM

    School should support student activities otherwise ANU will remain boring forever ….No offense.
