Chris Brown’s dancer sues for injuries sustained during a video shoot in 2017

American superstar Chris Brown is facing yet another legal battle.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, backup dancer Danielle Griffin has filed a lawsuit against Brown over eye injuries she sustained during a 2017 video shoot.

Griffin claims a wardrobe and make-up artist named Angel had “carelessly and negligently poured fake liquid blood on (her) head without eye protection after assuring her that the substance was safe.”

The plaintiff says the liquid caused damage to both of her eyes, and she now wants Brown and the video’s production team to pay.

According to Complex, Griffin argues that fake blood was not properly tested for safety and that the defendants should’ve known the liquid could harm eyes. She says Brown and the production company “had a duty to properly train its employees and agents on the use of dangerous substance including fake liquid blood when preparing dancers and performers for the music video.”

According to The Blast, Griffin claims Brown and the production team have not provided any assistance during her recovery.

She is seeking more than $25,000, for “loss of wages including past and present,” as well as damages, “including medical care and treatment of personal injuries.”

The Blast report does not specify the Brown video for which Griffin was hired.
