Catherine Kasavuli Shares Six Life Lessons Amid Cancer Battle

TV queen Catherine Kasavuli has shared six life lessons that she has learnt as she battles cervical cancer.

A blood donation appeal for Kasavuli who was the first female news anchor in Kenya went viral over a week ago with scores of Kenyans offering their support to the media veteran.

Here are the life lessons learnt by Kasavuli over the last couple of months.

1. Your family is all you got at the end of the day ,make peace with them, try to be in good books with them. Even if you feel otherwise.

2. Always depend on your Higher Power, pray for as much as you can, at least while you have the strength.

3. f you have atleast 2 friends or colleagues you can always count on , appreciate them . They’re very rare .

4. Don’t loose hope , keep on believing, hope courageously .

5. Love your body ,treasure it .

6. Finally always do good, it will always come back to you, eventually.

The KBC news anchor also shared an update on her health saying she is a strong woman as she thanked people who are praying for her.

“I know I’ll fight this. I am currently getting ready for a phase two procedure,” she said.

Kasavuli has been admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital since October 26 following her cancer diagnosis.
