Singer Akothee has seemingly clapped at makeup artiste Dennis Karuri after the latter opened up that she is the rudest celebrity client he had ever worked with.
“She took me all the way to Migori and put me through it for a whole day. She was the rudest client I ever worked with, and it did not even help that she went as far as making me perform personal assistant duties and run errands for her. I did it diligently but I disliked the experience. I took it all in stride though,” revealed Karuri on comedian Obina’s YouTube show.

Akothee’s model and content creator daughter must have caught wind of the make up artist’s claims. Responding under an Instagram post, she came to her mom’s defence writing: “Feedback is feedback. If a client isn’t contented, she isn’t. That doesn’t mean they’re rude. Maybe the makeup was truly ashy.” The ashy allusion was a jab at Karuri’s makeup skills, seeing as he alleged the singer told her makeup looked ‘ashy.’ “If it was as ashy as she claimed, why was she posting pictures of it?” posed Karuri.
Not a stranger to responding to backlash, sometimes leaving no stone unturned, Akothee has issued a cryptic response to Karuri’s allegations. Hinting at a prospective lawsuit, Akothee said she handles matters the court room way.“It’s easy nowadays. I am dealing with my health and how my money can work for me, I have no time for dealing with clout chasers. Someone will deal with it. I don’t need your private apology, just finish it the way you started it,” she began.
“This time sickness has humbled me, I’m not energetic enough to indulge in online battles. I could be fighting with a witch who may see back on my sick bed. I will not build a brand to elevate your channels, just post your work and let my name rest. Call police,” concluded the statement.
