Nigerian hitmakers Kizz Daniel and Tekno latest song ‘Buga’ has hit a major milestone on Shazam.
The recently released ‘Buga’ is now the most Shazamed song in the world, with a staggering 610,935 Shazams for the song.
This is not the only feat that the hit has achieved since its release. The song became the number one song on the Apple Music Top 100 in Nigeria just three days after its release. As of May 16th, 2022, ‘Buga’ became the Apple Music number one song in fifteen different countries in Africa.
The afro-fusion groovy tune, which was produced by talented beatmaker, Blaise Beatz, dropped on May 4th 2022, and has garnered over 4 million YouTube views.
‘Buga’ talks about money, motivation, and jamboree. up tempo with rhythms and melody that gets you up on your feet as soon as the song starts with Kizz Daniel’s interesting introduction command “No sleep, No sleep! Wake up!! Collect your money! Wake up!!”
Tekno glides through his verse so smoothly with his usual Melodies with a sprinkle of Yoruba in his verses that keeps you on the dance floor.
The new song is a follow-up of the 7-track ‘Barnabas EP featuring the guest appearance of The Caveman on the hit song, ‘Oshe’.
