Multiplatinum singer Adele has announced that her much-awaited upcoming album drops November 19.
In an official statement posted on her social media, the singer shares intimate details of the new record, and went as further as to confirm that it will be titled 30, continuing her numerical album-naming method.
This new announcement just days after Adele teased the lead single off the album, slated to drop on October 15.
She further reveals that it has been a work in the making for 3 years, alluding to going through a turbulent time throughout the recording process and the album being her saving grace. “It was my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life. When I was writing it, it was my friend who came over with a bottle and a takeaway to cheer me up. My wise friend who always gives the best advice. Not to forget the one who’s wild and says “It’s your Saturn return babes f**k it , you only liv once, ” reads her statement in part.
The album will mark Adele’s much awaited return to music. Her last album was 2015’s 25.
