The devil works hard, but Brian Chira’s friends, acquaintances and fans work harder! Within hours of launching, the departed TikToker’s funeral fundraiser has amassed a whopping Ksh 1.2 million.
Spearheaded by one Baba Talisha, who has been a frontrunner for all things Chira since the latter succumbed to a tragic accident over the weekend, the fundraiser has seen all and sundry come in droves for a good cause.
While his death shockwaves the world over, Chira’s online community have mobilized to raise the funds that are meant to be channeled towards his burial and a fraction of it used to buy his grandmother a piece of land.
Baba Talisha, who has been playing intermediary between the online community and Chira’s fans, just announced that the money that is being that Chira’s paybill account had garnered a record Ksh 1, 228, 910.
Meanwhile, Chira’s burial is slated for March 26 in Githunguri, Kiambu county.
