Kylie Jenner was reportedly making over $1 million for every sponsored Instagram post before lockdown began.
The reality TV star, 22, has 173 million followers and regularly uses her account to plug her Kylie Cosmetics and beauty brand.
However, she also posts plugs for other companies, and although these posts are rare – she reportedly earns big bucks for them.
According to data published by Instagram tool Hopper HQ, Kylie earns around $1.2 million for each ad she shares.
Her last big plug came in December 2019, when she promoted a range of Frozen II dolls from an online toy store. She’s also promoted SugarBearHair vitamin gummies and Teami Blends wellness products.
Kylie hasn’t posted any sponsored ads since her native California went into lockdown during the coronavirus outbreak.
It’s not known whether she’ll be able to continue to command the huge sums for every post as the pandemic has tanked economies around the world.
However, she’s continued to plug her own company in a bid to keep the brand in business during the global crisis.
Kylie has been named the world’s youngest self-made billionaire by Forbes magazine for two years in a row, mostly thanks to her beauty empire.
The mother of one started off by selling lip kits promoting the brand using her filler-plumped pout and later moved into cosmetics and skincare.
