The purpose of the scholarship is “to encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident,” according to the official announcement posted on Beyonce’s website. Created to celebrate the one year anniversary of her hit album Formation, the scholarship will see 4 students transformed into change makers.
