Kim Kardashian has been named Balenciaga’s latest celebrity brand ambassador in a new over-the-top campaign that sees the reality star and savvy businesswoman model the Parisian brand’s latest collection.
Lensed in her Calabasas home, the SKIMS and KKW mogul rocks the latest installations of the mega French brand, which is a culmination of most of the looks Kardashian has sported since the all-black head-to-toe look she turned heads with at the Met Gala last year. Ever since the Met, Kimmy has worn a plethora of similar asthetic looks, among them the one she was draped during her SNL press run in late 2021.
All of the looks must have been Kardashian’s not-so-subtle hint that she was due to be tapped as Balenciaga’s new Spring campaign’s ambassador by Gemma Gvasalia, the brand’s creative director. So huge is the ordeal, that they cleared the posts on their Instagram to make West the focal point of the luxury fashion house’s new ad campaign.
Part of the new pieces she flaunts is Balenciaga’s neon iteration of the La Cagole bag, a cinched black overcoat, and a furry leopard print coat all very quintessential Kardashian looks.
