Gospel star Bahati has left tongues wagging after stepping out rocking a new hairstyle, faux dreadlocks.
Bahati took to his Instagram account to ask fans what they thought of his new hairstyle and as much as some were impressed, a section of fans were not.
The multiple award-winning singer has been rocking baby locks but he has gone ahead to add the length and he is currently spotting dreadlocks long enough to put in a ponytail.
âComment with yes or no.â he wrote on his Instagram page.
Bahati found himself being compared to the likes of Ken wa Maria, Nyashinski and the late mighty King Kong. Others called him out for lacking originality and being like his fellow âgospelâ singer who always unveils new looks that are similar to that of Tanzanian star, Diamond Platnumz.
Bahatiâs wife Diana Marua seems to be among those that were not impressed as she took to Instagram to tell her man that the hairstyle does not look good on him. âBabe, I never fold on you⌠but this look on you, NAAAAAHHHH @bahatikenya Whoâs with me?â wrote Diana Marua.
Controversial Gospel singer Ringtone savagely chided Bahati for looking like a woman with this new hairstyle saying that the Bible said that a man should not look like a woman.

This is not the first time the young father has been ridiculed online this year, as reported by The Sauce, many fans lashed out at Bahati for shortchanging his former friend and EMB signee Mr. Seed as well as disrespecting his family.
