‘Composure’ is about a toxic relationship, and Xtactic so eloquently expresses some relatable truths, as she takes the audience through the complex ups and downs of a conflicted individual in an apparent toxic relationship.
The soulful track samples 2 Pac’s ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha’. According to Mdundo, Fancy Fingers takes the rhythm off the beat and builds up the skeleton with an electric and bass guitar, making the layering minimalistic setting the mood for the touching release.

Once a Sony Music signee, Xtactic has remained relatively quiet, retreating from the limelight for years. And now, it seems that the rap queen is determined to make 2020 her year with a series of releases from the 10-track ‘Soxial Xperiment’ project. The track features collaborations with equally talented acts including So Generation star Bensoul, Xenia Manasseh, and even a treat for real hip hop heads a Khali Kartel 2 freestyle. She worked with a great team to see through her vision including her partner as MushkingFX handled production for the majority of the tracks.
Xtactic’s mixtapes is raw, comprehensive and timely. In an era when many are in reflection, these tracks are a good listen.
