Jamaican songstress Alaine has responded to pleas by controversial Kenyan singer Willy Paul to unlock him and to forgive him.
Taking to Instagram this afternoon (11.07.19) the ‘Sacrifice’ singer told the ‘Digiri’ singer who seems to be wanting something more than friendship with Alaine that everything will be alright and that it was all about the music and God.

She acknowledged that they have great musical chemistry and asked her fans if they should release another song together.
Alaine’s message was bittersweet to Willy Paul who on one hand was excited that she unblocked her but was disappointed that she did not talk about their ‘relationship’ rather just about music.

As reported by The Sauce, Kenyans hilariously reacted to the long, emotional post, Pozze posted yesterday (10.07.19). One commented, βPozze atatumaliza na mambohatujapumua kuona Vera in black na ye pia ameanza.β Another pointed out that the Instagram post was a desperate attempt by Willy Pozze to reclaim a friendship that may have already run its course. One commentator said, βUna umama, waona ukitaja mamako utahurumiwa.β
Though it is not clear what sort of relationship, friendship or otherwise that Willy was looking for with Alaine, her move from secular to gospel music and his from gospel to secular music could be among the many reasons she has distanced herself. One commenter even pointed out βShe found Christ.β
The two collaborated on a big tune titled ‘I Do’ which still gets massive airplay on Kenyan media. The song has over 12 million views on YouTube and counting.
Do you think these antics on social media are ploys to get sympathy and traction for an upcoming collabo?
