Due to ongoing unrest and anticipated nationwide demonstrations on June 25th, 2025, Blankets & Wine has canceled its June edition, originally set for June 29th, 2025.

The decision to cancel was made after security consultations flagged the situation as volatile and high-risk, prioritizing the safety of attendees and staff.

Blankets & Wine remains hopeful and committed to hosting its festival editions in September in Bradford and Nairobi. The organization apologized for the inconvenience, urging everyone to stay safe in the coming days.
