We live, but most importantly we grow. We live to make mistakes and learn. At the age of 25 years, you may have gone through a lot in all aspects of life, not as much as a 50-year-old of course.
Here are a few important lessons to learn:
1. Humanity won’t cost you thing
Humanity is very rare these days. As selfish as people want to be, humanity does not cost anyone anything. Many choose to be selfish. One thing that am sure of is when you help someone, someday in your hour of need, you will also receive help. Empathising with others is at the core of being human.
2. There are no shortcuts in life
With an exception of those born filthy rich, I tell you, my friend, there are no shortcuts in life. You have to struggle, make sacrifices and put in a lot of effort. In the end, it will all be worth it. Remember “what comes easy will not last, and what lasts does not come easy.”
3. You hold all the motivation
You are the one person that can motivate and demotivated yourself. No one has the power to kill your determination. The key to success is to draw strength from yourself, even when you face opposition around you. It is worth noting that “difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
4. Patience and hope is all you got
Life will get tough, things will go wrong and every time you expect something to go right, and instead, it goes left. That will frustrate you but what do you have when everything goes wrong? Patience and hope. Try again, be patient and hope it will go alright. Do all the right things you have to do, play your part fully and let the rest take care of itself.
Some will say life is tough, and others may say it is one easy. It all doesn’t matter, what matters is what you think. And no matter what you think, take the life lessons make use of them and you will make it.
