38 never looked so fit, celebrating Ronaldinho’s legendary skills

Ronaldinho also known by his government names Ronaldo de Assis Moreira turns 38 years old today.

The legendary footballer created a name for himself with his flair and skill set, unmatched by many on the pitch. Starting his career at age 7, Ronaldinho has played over 2 decades. Though he may have set aside football after announcing his retirement in January 2018, El Gaucho is now taking time to invest his efforts in grassroots politics in Brazil. Nonetheless, Ronaldinho continues to be a shining star for football all over the world. With many accolades to his name including FIFA World Player of the Year 2004, 2005 as well as receiving the Ballon d’Or in 2005, his talent is undeniable.

Here are three reasons why Ronaldinho is still a legend:

1.Killer dribbling skills 

Ronaldinho is innovative and creative. Coupled with his passion for football, Ronaldinho came up with some funky moves that confused not only his opponents on the pitch but also the fans in the stands. With quick feet and lots of flair, Ronaldinho is more than just an impressive player.

2.Notable assists

Ronaldinho has never been a selfish player. Aside from his immense talent, he was never afraid to share the spotlight with his teammates. He particularly created a great bond with Messi while at Barcelona in the later part of his career. Lionel Messi who was only 19 years old at the time, and Ronaldinho shared a close friendship making them an unforgettable dynamic duo.
