#WeirdNews : Woman marries herself, after numerous heartbreaks

A woman has married herself and used a handheld mirror to say her vows.

Australian-born Linda Doktar decided that she had suffered enough heartbreak in her life, and took action into her own hands.

The 43-year-old decided to marry herself in an intimate beach ceremony with three of her closest friends – where she declared her love for herself into a mirror. Linda told the Metro newspaper: “I thought this was a beautiful concept to symbolize my journey into loving and honoring myself on a deeper level.

“I believe that the most important relationship I will ever have is with myself. I know and understand that the quality of the relationship we have with ourselves determines the quality of experiences we have with others.”
