Weird World: 2-Year-Old Turkish Girl Bites Snake, Kills It

A toddler bit and killed a snake after it had bitten her.

The two-year-old girl from Turkey was playing in the garden of her family home last week when she was bitten on the lip by the reptile.

The tot – identified only by her initials S.E – retaliated by biting and killing the snake using her own teeth.

Neighbours were horrified when they found the girl with the 20-inch snake clamped between her teeth.

She received first aid treatment from neighbours for the bite on her lip before being taken to a children’s hospital for further treatment, although the snake was beyond saving.

The girl’s father Mehmet Ercan was at work when his daughter decided to carry out the revenge act on the snake.

He said: “Allah has protected her, really, Our neighbours have told me that the snake was in the hand of my child, she was playing with it and then it bit her.

“Then she has bitten the snake back as a reaction.”
