WAMA International Brings Adidas Originals, An International Brand To Kenya At Westgate Mall

HASHTAGSQUAREE

Sports and Lifestyle brand adidas Originals has expanded its retail presence in Kenya with the opening of their store at Westgate Mall in Westlands. adidas Originals has been brought to Kenya by WAMA International Group, which has more than 30+ stores in different regions with a massive expansion plan in East Africa.

The store aims to elevate the retail experience and offers adidas originals products which include lifestyle footwear, apparel, and accessories for both men and women. adidas Originals is located in the heart of Westgate Mall which boasts over 80 stores.

The global sportswear brand opened its doors to the public on the 4th April and kicked things off with a launch party featuring a variety of different entertainment, DJs, sneaker customization and a celebration of culture for the guests who attended. The opening reflected the brand’s commitment to creativity, inclusion, sustainability and innovation, with a blend of local flair.

The opening comes as adidas places more focus on Africa while tailoring and adapting to local customers, offering products and experiences that resonate with the culture of the city along with cutting-edge design.

“It has been a great experience to partner up with the WAMA group and bring the first Originals standalone store to Nairobi. As a brand we are committed to growing our brand presence in Africa and positively contributing to the communities that we operate in.” – Brett Burgess, Senior Director Africa Export, EM South

“We are thrilled to launch our first adidas Originals store in East Africa.” says Ismael Elmahdy, Head of Retail at WAMA International Group.

The adidas Originals store is located on the first floor of Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya.
